Many researchers, scientists, and just plain everyday people are starting to notice the trend in technological advances. Job positions are slowly being filled by advancing automation technologies instead of people. Things are being made more efficiently and quickly as a result of these things also. So what are we to do? Stop the constantly evolving hand of technology just to keep us slow enough to employ mass amount of workers?  What I think is we should do the opposite. Let technology help us change into what this world could be. Our system as it has been run up till now has been acceptable, and we've survived. But the ignorant and constant battles are just too taxing on us as the human race. Educational technologies could expedite the process of raising intelligent and compassionate human beings. A species prepared to live in alignment with the rest of it's being... represented by our friends, our family, the earth, and the stars. I do not however say this in arrogant expectation. Technologies such as these "educational" devices that could program information directly into the human brain... could of course be used for evil as well. It is up to the already intelligent and compassionate ones to guide the use of emerging technologies to their most needed type of use. For example, we do have highly advanced water cleaning systems, but we have no one working together to get them in the places they are needed most. Communication and cooperation to do these types of things have been greatly sped up through the internet. So here we are... still unable to grasp that we only have one earth. And until we've found a jewel like earth, I think it's high time we start cooperating now. So as to save this "blue dot" from non-sensical conflict and destruction.
